KACA Kids Have Fun At Jerudong
Park
By James Kon
Bandar Seri
Begawan - About thirty special needs children and parents from
KACA Bandar and Senkurong visited the Jerudong Park yesterday morning.
The monthly activity serves as a good
exercise for the children's mind and body. In fact exercise is good
for any individuals to build a healthy lifestyle, said Jenny Gilkey,
the KACA supervisor.
She also thanked Jerudong Park
Playground for giving the children the opportunity to have fun in the
park.
The special needs children had fun at
the playground where dozens of equipment are available for them to
use. Some children were at first not sure of themselves to climb up
the ladder of the slide but at the end they got used to it. The
parents too had the opportunity to meet other parents. Some children
were able to play the swing and the seesaw and other fun equipment.
The activity helped the children to learn to interact with one
another.
On the April 26, the group will be
heading to Fratini's Restaurant at the Yayasan shopping complex to get
a taste of making pizza while on April 26, there will be another
outing to the Empire Hotel and Country Club. (Courtesy
