Snatch Thief Gets Away With $50,000

Bandar Seri Begawan - A snatch thief got away with $50,000 from a businessman who went to a shop carrying the money, which he just withdrew from a bank.

According to informed sources the incident took place around 1pm yesterday at the bustling newly developed commercial complex in Batu Bersurat in the Gadong area.

It is believed that the unidentified man quickly disappeared in a saloon car. Meanwhile Sunday Bulletin learnt that roadblocks were conducted yesterday shortly after the incident in an effort to nab the suspect. (Courtesy Of Borneo Bulletin)
