Boustead hands over vehicle for expedition

Fifteen staff members from the Brunei History Centre, with the cooperation of the media crew from Megabond Sdn Bhd, will carry out an expedition to trace the relation between Brunei and the indigenous group of "Kayan" in Baram and Bintulu in Sarawak. In view of this, Boustead Sdn Bhd was kind enough to hand over a 4X4 Nissan Patrol for the purpose of such an expedition.

The key was presented to Hj Abd Karim Hj Abd Rahman, Head of Research Division and Documentation as the Head of History Coordinator, was Mr Lim Beng Thai, Board of Director of Boustead Sdn Bhd.

The ceremony was held yesterday at the Boustead showroom in Beribi Light Industrial Area.

The 10-day expedition, the first of its kind, will also get support from the Sarawak Museum.
