IDBB hosts UBD students

Bank executive officer gives a presentation
Around thirty second-year UBD
students had the pleasure of visiting the Islamic Development Bank of
Brunei Berhad in Kiulap yesterday morning, one of the biggest Islamic
bank in Brunei. The students were led by their lecturer Hajah Salma
Haji Latiff, who is also the head of Management Studies. During the
visit, Mohd Sharoll Haji Mohd Roger the bank executive officer,
representatives and managers from different department made a special
presentation regarding the bank's well-diversified products and
services, particularly on Al-Wadiah Education Account, Al-Mudharabah
Saving Account and others.
It was explained that The Al-Wadiah
Education account can assist students and parents with its future
financial planning convenience, whereby parents could plan their
children's future by way of keeping savings for further studies.
The students then were introduced to
the computer financing and Al Falah Education Financing Scheme, which
can provide facilities for those students who are interested in
continuing their further studies abroad.
At the end of the presentation, some
of the UBD students were given the opportunity to ask any question
about IDBB's product and they did.
