More RBA flights suspended
By Azrol Azmi

As a result of the ongoing significant drop in passenger demand due to the SARS outbreak, Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) announces the suspension of more flights. Several flights to Singapore, one of the affected flight destinations, have been cancelled due to lack of demand. It was deemed that, for the month of May, flights to Singapore (BI421/422) would be cancelled, with the exception of certain dates, namely May 1, 12, 15, 22, and 26, 2003. The flights for all other dates have been cancelled, according to a statement issued by RBA.

Flights to Shanghai (BI615/618) for April 24, 25 and 27 are also suspended, as well as flights destination to Hongkong (BI637/638) for April 21 and 28.

According to RBA, passengers who have booked seats on these flights will be re-allocated to alternative flights.

RBA regrets any inconveniences caused, and will continue to monitor the situation and make necessary adjustments to match prevailing market conditions. For more information, passengers may call the RBA Reservations office at 2242222 or 3333737.
