Cambodian embassy marks new year

The Ambassador of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam Mr Ith Dettola celebrated the Cambodian New Year at his residence in Beribi on Wednesday night. Cambodian New Year 2547 fell on April 14, 15 and 16 this year.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pehin Dato Seri Paduka Hj Awang Mohd Ali bin Haji Awang Mohd Daud was among the guests attending the dinner celebration.

Also present were Ambassador of Australia, Mr Mc Alaster Cox; Ambassador of Vietnam, Mr Tran Tien Vinh and Ambassador of Bangladesh, Mr Habibul Islam Bhuiyan, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the function, the invited guests were entertained with performances on Cambodian traditional songs and dances.
