Students

Bandar Seri
Begawan - Students will be tested for their ICT knowledge and
skills during the Inforama competition to be held at Sultan Mohd
Jamalul Alam Secondary School this year.
Inforama will encourage students to
learn and use ICT. It is a project of the Education Ministry for the
schools and government institutions in the sultanate.
The project will provide networking
facilities and sufficient computers for ICT in educational and
management systems.
The Inforama Level One competition
for primary schools is being held at three separate venues: one in
Brunei-Muara District, one in Tutong and another in Kuala Belait
District.
Level One is divided into five
categories. These are: a quiz for upper primary, presentation using MS
PowerPoint for primary six, working with MS Excel with primary five,
typing and editing skills using computers for primary four and drawing
using Paint for primary one to three.
Inforama is an ICT-oriented
educational competition specifically designed for students from both
government and non-government schools in the sultanate.
This year's competition carries the
theme, 'ICT for learning and life.' Its objectives are to promote the
use of ICT across the curriculum to build a knowledge-based society
and to make ICT a regular part of life.
