Get-Together To Highlight Sultan's 57th Birthday in Brunei-Muara

Bandar Seri Begawan - A get-together ceremony will highlight this year's 57th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei in the Brunei-Muara District.

Brunei-Muara District Officer, Dato Awang Haji Harun made the disclosure during the second meeting of the executive committee of His Majesty's 57th birthday celebration in the Brunei-Muara District yesterday.

The event will take place at the Menjalin Trade Sports and Recreation Complex in Sungai Kabun.

Dato Awang Haji Harun also said the concept and the theme for this year's performance and exhibition will feature the modern civilisation achieved by the district.

It will also display the district's development, progress and the effectiveness of the current era of info-communication technology.

The meeting also approved the appointment of members of the executive committee.

The royal birthday programme will include religious sports and cultural performances.
