Royal Brunei Airlines Gets Drugs

Begawan - The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a
briefing to about forty of Royal Brunei Airline's senior staff on 9th
April at the Muhibah Room, Royal Brunei Recreation Club.
The briefing was part of NCB's
preventive drug education programme that it regularly organises to
disseminate anti-drug abuse message across the nation.
Leading the team from NCB was the
Bureau's Deputy Director, Hjh Shireen Hj Mustapha who in her
presentation touched on the Bureau's roles and functions, laws
governing the misuse of drugs and the drug situation in Brunei
Darussalam.
Various forms of drugs, the
concealment methods used and several drug paraphernalia were also
exhibited. The RBA staff who attended the briefing found it
interesting and informative.
Meanwhile, three thousand two hundred
pieces of "Skyrider" fun packs were presented today to the
Director of Community Development, Dayang Hjh Zaliha Hi Mohiddin in a
presentation ceremony held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and
Sports,
Royal Brunei Airlines' Director of
Customer Services, Pg Hj Kamarulzaman Pg Mohd Salleh presented the fun
packs on behalf of the airline. "RBA Is pleased to be able to
contribute to this event and we hope that the gift will bring some
cheer to the children", he said.
The RBA "Skyrider" fun
packs contain crayons, puzzles, activity books and travel games for
children. The fun packs will be distributed to the children who attend
a World Children's Day gathering in May. Children from all the four
districts in Brunet will be attending the event which is organised by
the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports,
