Teachers listen to a briefing while they tour the centre
A group of 15 teachers paid an
educational visit yesterday to the Al-Meerah Centre for the purpose of
gaining more exposure on the role and functions of the centre. Heading
the group of teachers from various government schools in all 4
districts was Dyg Hjh Zaiton bte Hj Damit, Programme Coordinator for

familiarise themselves with the programmes and training provided by
the centre for people with special needs.
Before touring the Al-Meerah Centre,
the teachers were briefed by an official from the centre on the
different types of rehabilitation programmes provided for the special
needs people.
Two more groups of teachers - 25
teachers from Sekolah Menengah PAP Hjh Rashidah, Lumut, and 17
teachers from Sekolah Menengah Sayidina Hussein, Jerudong - are
scheduled to pay a visit to the Al-Meerah Centre in the near future
for the same purpose.
