Two of the Brunei Air Scouts Movement council members were recently conferred with Honorary Air Wings for their intellectual contributions in the managerial affairs of the Air Scouts Movement. Air Scouts Commissioner, Skipper Pg Hjh Haklimah Pg Jaya Negara Indera Pg Hj Mokhtar Puteh and Air Scouts Commissioner, Skipper Awg Makrof Hj Awg Morni who is also the Principal of Maktab Duli Pengiran Al-Muhtadee Billah were presented with the Honorary Wings by Deputy Air Force Commander, Lt.Col Awg Hamid Hj Awg Nayan.

The event was witnessed by Pehin Dato Hj Awg Mohammad Ali Hj Awg Mohd Daud, in his capacity as the President of National Air Scouts Association. The event took place at Pehin's office. Skipper Pg Hjh Haklimah was the first lady to be conferred with the merit, said Chief of Air Scout Movement, Skipper Abd Jalil Dato Hj Awg Marsal.

Meanwhile, in a press statement, the Air Scouts Movement is to implement one-year round knowledge management training related to air activities amongst its members. It is part of its latest efforts aimed to prepare Bruneian youth to become knowledgeable, skilful, experience and resourceful individuals so that they can take part actively in the youth development programmes and prepare them to become productive, efficient, effective and independent leaders of the future.

The movement, in attempting to justify knowledge management realises that it depends on how valuable knowledge is perceived through real practice.
