Taking him by the hand, a "Pengangun" leads the delighted groom towards the home of his bride for a "Bersanding" ceremony in Kg Ayer. Passing by the houses, the wedding entourage is given curious and admiring glances by onlookers. Some reminisce and smile, while others simply look forward to the day of stepping into those shiny shoes.
