Insurance Company In Brunei Offers Cover Against SARS

Bandar Seri Begawan - American International Assurance Co., Ltd. (AIA) yesterday launched an innovative new product, AIA Living Essentials, believed to be the first of its kind in Brunei, covering Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

It also covers other prevalent ills of today, terrorist attacks and unemployment.

AIA Living Essentials provides cover against death, critical illnesses and total and permanent disabilities, as well as a number of other important covers such as an intensive care benefit.

Committed to responding to customers' needs, AIA has also extended the benefits of AIA Living Essentials to include cover against three of worlds current primary concerns: Unemployment, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Terrorist Attacks, an AIA spokesman said.
