The Belait District Officer flags off the event.
More than 500 people participated
in a jogathon held yesterday morning in the vicinity of Kg
Pandan lagoon.
The event was organised with
the aim of raising fund for the fire victims of Kg Malayan
longhouse as well as to contribute to the Palestine Humanitarian
Fund.

Adanan bin Hj Hanafiah who flagged off the event said that his
office supports and encourages activities which promote
goodwill, solidarity and peace.
He added that the jogathon
would be continuously conducted as a healthy activity to help
participants to adapt positive thinking and a healthy lifestyle.
Superintendent Awg Mohammed
Salleh bin Nayan, the Chief Officer of Kuala Belait Fire
Department also gave his speech at the function.
