Around the world with NBT
By Ignatius Stephen

Motor people as a dramatic troupe

More than impressed with the Academy Award-winning performances

Toyota people making it a memorable evening
With one thing everyone that night
agreed. If NBT, the Toyota people, ever ran out of cars, they could
easily make a comfortable living being a drama troupe.
Because the people who were lucky
enough to attend the two-hour extravaganza last week were more than
impressed. NBT's 'Around the World in 80 Days' really brought the
house down.
It was a non-stop comedy that the NBT
staff put up, which could have surely won the Academy Awards hands
down.
Also the NBT's Annual Dinner and
Dance at the Centrepoint, needless to say, was a thundering success
with all sections of the company; Brunei's No. 1 motor people doing
their bit to make it a memorable evening.
'Around The World in 80 Days' is a
famous story by Julius Verne about a Mr Phileas Fogg who was
challenged to make a trip around the world in 80 days in the 19th
century.
He made this trip and won the wager
after numerous escapades through many parts of the world.
