When famous music composers get
together to contribute songs to an album, chances are, fans will
get a variety of flavour in one album.
This was the case for local
singer Ajees' album - Rahsia Hati - produced by Malaysian
exclusive producers Khairie Den, Johari Teh and Zulkifli Majid.
The album contains ten
beautiful tracks composed by renowned music-writers such as
Johari Teh, Ajai, Zul 2 by 2 and Jari.
Comprising pop sentimental and
alternative tracks, songs from his album have regularly been
aired on both Radio Pelangi and Radio Kristal.
According to Ajees, the album
took several years to complete.
"Dugaan (Test), composed
by Johari Teh, was recorded as a single in September 2001 at
Synchrosound, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The single was aired on Radio
Pelangi and Radio Kristal and topped the local music charts for
many weeks, competing with international artistes.
"Based on the huge
response from the fans, I recorded 'Kala Cinta Melara' and 'Teka
Teki' at Pro Cheras, Selangor on August 2002," he said
The album, produced and
distributed by S K Dilly's De Production House has been flooding
the local entertainment market since March 18.
Fans can purchase the album
from CK Tang Enterprise, Sia and Tang Music Company, Golden
Music Centre and Yang Yang Video, priced at $20 for a CD or $8
in cassette form.
Ajees spoke to the Bulletin
during intermissions, while filming the video clip for 'Luka
Hanya Seketika' at the Holiday Lodge Hotel, Jerudong.
The video clip will be screened
at 7.20pm, Wednesday, on Radio Television Brunei's Skop
programme, produced by Dk Farhana Pg Bujang - a renowned local
singer and actress.
