Additional Jail Term For Thieving Man

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 43- year-old local man was given an extra three-year jail sentence when he pleaded guilty before the Magistrates' Court yesterday to taking Syabu.

Mohd Salleh bin Awang Besar is currently serving a sentence for a previous drug conviction. He admitted to the facts tendered in by police prosecuting officer stating that he was brought to BSB Central Police Station for investigations regarding a car theft.

During that period, Mohd Salleh revealed he was involved in drug related activities and his urine sample was tested.
