The Silent Precision Drill Course
for Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) which started on March 3 was
officially closed yesterday at the headquarters of the third
battalion, RBLF Penanjong Garrison by the guest of honour, Col
Hj Abdu'r Rahmani Dato Paduka Hj Basir, RBLF Commander.
In his speech, Col Hj Abdu'r
Rahmani stressed on the importance of drills through, which
discipline can be instilled. Discipline in turn was important to
ensure soldiers were always alert, responsive and able to comply
with orders even in adverse and unfavourable conditions
especially in times of emergency or in the battlefield.
At the ceremony, the commander
also presented certificates to the 37 participants of the course
as well as prizes to two students who achieved outstanding
results during the course. Best Overall student was 13616 Pte
Hilendi Osli, while Best in Academic was 15364 Pte Norkhairy Md
Harney, both from the third battalion RBLF.
