A 43-year-old local was slapped
with an extra 3-year imprisonment after pleading guilty to
taking Syabu yesterday in the Magistrates' Court.
Mohd Salleh bin Awang Besar is
currently serving his sentence for a previous drug conviction.
He admitted to the facts tendered in by police prosecuting
officer stating that he was brought to BSB Central Police
Station for investigations regarding car theft.
During that period, Mohd Salleh
revealed he was involved in drug related activities and his
urine sample was taken to be tested at the Scientific Lab.
His urine resulted positive for
Syabu.
