| In conjunction with
the 20th Anniversary of the Australian Diplomatic Representation
in Brunei Darussalam, the Australian High Commission, in
cooperation with Musica Viva Australia and the Brunei Music
Society will be hosting an Australian group called "Nova
Ensemble", April 10-15, 2003.
The Australian High
Commissioner, Mr Allaster Cox said, "the Group's innovative
use of industrial and recyclable materials is their unmistakable
onstage trademark. They feature a unique mix of eye-catching and
amazing sounding instruments".
The Australian High
Commissioner also noted that the concert would be a mixture of
influences and traditions in the neighbouring Indian Ocean
Region. "It is, however, undeniably Australian", said
Mr Cox. "This is a family music concert with a real
difference".

Tickets for the Nova's Brunei
Music Society Concert are available for sale at the Mabohai Club
and also at the main entrance of the Orchid Garden Hotel at 7
pm, Saturday, April 12, 2003.
