A delegation from China, headed by
Mr Yu Youjun, Mayor of Shenzhen, is expected to arrive in Brunei
today for a four-day visit. The visit is aimed at promoting the
economic and tourists exchanges and cooperation between Brunei
and Shenzhen of China.
Among the eight delegates are
senior officials from various departments of the Shenzhen
Municipality, including the Bureau of Planning, Land and
Resources, Tourism Administration, Urban Planning and Design
Institutes, and the Foreign Affairs Office.
The Mayor of Shenzhen and the
delegation are expected to pay a courtesy call on the Minister
of Communications as well as the Minister and the Permanent
Secretary of Industry and Primary Resources, and be granted an
audience with the Foreign Minister. They will visit the
Temburong National Park and other tourist attractions
