It was indeed a showcase of
talents when Afdlin Shauki made a special appearance at the
Holiday Lodge in Jerudong.
He belted a few of his
self-composed songs during his appearance, and was later joined
on-stage by local talents Diana Latip and Lo'Ryder.
Being the natural comedian that
he is, the audience were both entertained and tickled by jokes
he delivered during intermissions of his performance.
During the event, Afdlin
mentioned that he has come across several promising local
talents in the Sultanate, who only need to be recognised and
accepted by the public. He added that it took a few people to
recognise his talents, before positioning him where he is now.
By the end of the show, Afdlin
was ready to have photos taken with his fans and autographs
signed.
The talented actor cum singer
is currently in Brunei readying to perform for DST's annual
dinner. He is also taking the opportunity to meet his fans here.
