Generous prizes for slogan winners

"Supa Save is first for choice and quality, second to none, definitely Brunei's number one" has won as the best slogan in The Australian Fair-Supa Save Slogan Contest held yesterday morning.

Prince Abdul Qawi, Executive Deputy Chairman and Director QAF Brunei Sdn Bhd graced the event as guest of honour.

Mr Allaster Cox, The Australian High Commissioner to Brunei and Mr K Y Lim, General Manager of Ben Foods were present during the event.

Mr K Y Lim thanked the Australian High Commission for its enthusiastic support and the customers for their keen participation.

Ms Nehrun Nisa won first place and received the prize - a package for 2 persons to Gold Coast, Brisbane for 4 days 3 nights - sponsored by William International of Australia. Awg Abd Malek bin Hj Hamdani won second place, with the slogan "Supa-Save is the supermarket which grew to fame by putting quality behind their name". He won a package for one person to Perth, Australia for 4 days and 3 nights, sponsored by North East Equity and Paragon Produce, Australia. Third place went to Mohammad Afzal with the slogan "Supa Save is where every transaction gives shoppers satisfaction". He won Australian hampers sponsored by Supa Save Supermarkets.

Among other participants who won Australian hampers were Mr Gerald Sim, Ms Naz P. Hj Rashid, Ms Lelia Chai and Jamaluddin Abd Rahman. All prizes were sponsored by Supa Save Supermarkets.

Fourth place winner Mr Sim Boon Kiat received a kangaroo soft toy, which was sponsored by William International Australia. Fifth-placed Mohammad Alias received a koala soft toy courtesy of William International Australia.

In all, 72 consolation prizes comprising toys and boomerangs sponsored by Tong Sing, Australia were given individually to the winners.

Prince Abdul Qawi presented the prizes to all the winners, and the presentation ceremony was held at the Millennium Restaurant in Beribi, Gadong.
