Baiduri presents circus tickets to orphans, welfare children

In a show of support for the local community, Baiduri Bank took the opportunity to give away hundreds of Royal London Circus tickets to the less fortunate children in the Sultanate yesterday.

"This is a good opportunity for the Baiduri Bank Group to show their support for the community by hosting the Royal London Circus show on April 5," said the General Manager of Baiduri Bank Group, Mr Pierre Imhof.

Baiduri presented 500 tickets for the Royal London Circus show on April 5 to the Community Development Department, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in Brunei. Baiduri Bank will be hosting the evening show for their invited guests consisting of VIPs, retail and corporate clients, business partners and associates.

The presentation was held at the Baiduri Bank Conference Room, Block A Unit 2, Kiarong Complex, Lebuhraya Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Mr Pierre Imhof presented the tickets to Dyg Hjh Zaliha Hj Mohiddin, the Director of Community Development.

According to Dyg Zaliha, the 500 tickets will be distributed among children under the orphan and welfare institute.

Baiduri Bank Group is actively involved in community services. Besides sponsoring tickets to various shows and musical concerts, the bank also holds regular blood donation drives among its staff and customers.

And through its annual Charity Golf Tournament, contribute towards the setting up and running of the Child Development Centre under the auspices of the Ministry of Health.
