Narrow Escape As Lorry Turns Turtle In Accident

Bandar Seri Begawan - A truck driver and his two passengers were lucky to escape with minimal injuries when their truck overturned in an accident near the Kampong Tanjung Nangka and Jalan Tutong intersection.

The mishap occurred at about 10.45 am yesterday when the truck driver and his passengers were on their way to deliver supplies to the capital.

The lorry, with a full load of mineral water, turned turtle near a drain off the main road when another vehicle had allegedly emerged suddenly out of a junction. The truck driver had to swerve his lorry sharply to avoid hitting the vehicle, but the sudden sharp turn caused the lorry to flip over. (Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin)
