A Malaysian millionaire came to
Brunei Darussalam for the second time to give another series of
marketing talks in an effort to further stimulate and motivate
locals to emulate him.
Azman Chin, 36 said he will not
stop coming to Brunei Darussalam until he has seen a local
become a millionaire through his motivational talks. He was here
from March 29 until yesterday (March 31).
"After I have seen the
first millionaire I will come again to motivate more people
until I have seen enough millionaires," he said giggling.
He came here for the first time last year in October.
Azman became a millionaire
eleven years ago when he was 25. He attained millionaire status
13 months after joining the multi-level-marketing (MLM) company,
CNI.
He was interviewed by Bulletin
after giving motivational talks at the residence of Hajah
Saadiah in Berakas.
Apart from being a millionaire,
he said he was the first person in the world to obtain an MBA in
MLM and a doctorate in a similar area from St George, Oxford
University in 1999.
"If you want to drive
around in a Mercedes S500, then you must think and do what I
have told you," he said to the audience. He himself drives
a Mercedes S500, owns several more cars and also has a shop
house valued at B$300,000 and a palatial house costing B$1.2
million.
His rags-to-riches story
started after he joined CNI in 1992. He did that because his
sister was cured from an irregular menstruation cycle after
taking 'Royal Jelly' food supplements, a CNI product.
"I thought it was a
miracle and after many more people benefited by consuming the
product I quit my job and concentrated on selling CNI
products," he said adding that he now earns about B150,000
a month.
After becoming a millionaire,
Azman then worked hard to motivate others. He was definitely
successful, as he has been able to help 18 people achieve
millionaire status from the 150,000 "downline" members
beneath him.
He hopes to see 60 more
millionaires through CNI marketing plans six years from now.
His success story is his
ability to motivate people to work harder. He not only speaks at
CNI seminars but also other corporate companies who invite him
to motivate their employees.
"I charge from B$2,500 to
B$4,000 an hour, but I have proof that after giving out
lectures, companies such as ICI recorded an increase in sales as
a result of productivity due to the motivational talks."
"As a result, no company
in Malaysia would dare challenge my asking price for private
motivational seminars," he said, adding that through sheer
hard work and dedication, anyone can become a millionaire
through CNI.
