The truck which overturned in the accident
A truck driver and his two
passengers were lucky to escape with minimal injuries after the
truck they were driving turned upside down in an accident near
the Kampong Tanjung Nangka and Jalan Tutong intersection.
The mishap occurred at about
10.45 am yesterday when the truck driver and his passengers were
on their way to deliver their supplies in the capital.
The lorry, full with supplies
of mineral water, turned turtle near a drain off the main road
when another vehicle allegedly emerged suddenly from a junction.
The truck driver had to swerve
his lorry to avoid hitting the vehicle, but the sudden sharp
turn caused the lorry to flip upside down and land near the
drain beside the main road of Jalan Tutong.
