The Importance Of Customs And Traditions Bandar Seri Begawan – Customs define the identity of the race or nation without which society’s inherited traditions will be colourless and meaningless, said the Assistant Chief of the Adat Isjarat Negara Pengiran Dato Haji Ahmad. He stressed the importance of addressing the elderly in a proper and respective ways. It is most important that society addresses the royalty and state dignitaries according to their rank, he said. The Lambak Kanan Housing Scheme organised the lecture at Dato Marsa Primary School in Area-1 yesterday, attended by residents and others from neighbouring villages.
