200 Youths Join Scout Camp 2001
Bandar Seri Begawan – Scout Camp 2001 was launched at the Bukit Shahbandar Recreation Park in Jerudong yesterday in preparation for the International Youth Camping Brunei is hosting in August this year, Acting Head of Camping Haji Awang Yassin said More than 200 scouts in the Brunei-Muara District are attending the three-day scout camping. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pehin Dato Haji Awang Mohd Ali advised the scouts to look back at the association’s aims. They are encouraged to develop physically, mentally, socially and spiritually so they will become useful to other people, the nation and religion, he said.
