More Donations For Orphans Fund
Bandar Seri Begawan – The Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans received more than $4,000 from two donors yesterday. Some $3,912.99 collected through a Tutong charity walkathon held last year was presented by the Acting District Officer Pengiran Abdul Harris to Pehin Dato Haji Awang Yahya, a member of the fund’s board of trustees. A second donation of $360.90 came from the Jerudong Park Secretariatm, which collected the fund from the Naduama Hijrah and National Competition organised recently. The Project Manager Dayang Hayati presented the check to Pehin Dato Haji Awang Yahya. The flow of contributions for the fund shows that the Brunei community also care about the welfare of the less fortunate society, it was said during the function at the Headquarters of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation on Jalan Kumbang Pasang.
